Celebrate the great-grandparent of our liberties, the Magna Carta, the Great Charter. This season’s Apprentice/Intern production of King John coincide with the 800th anniversary (June 15, 1215) of England’s barons forcing John to acknowledge rights and limits to power whose echo we find in our own revolution and Bill of Rights. Medieval and Renaissance documents, including English legal manuscripts from the collection of our speaker, Timothy Forester, will be on display. This Front Porch event is free, and will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Stark 106 off of the Science Atrium.
