The Great River Shakespeare Festival offers many opportunities for students to work alongside professionals in a theatrical setting. Whether you are looking for work in scenic, sound, electrics, costumes, props, stage management, box office, or administration, our staff understands and values the working student. While the end product, our performances, are our goal, we do take the time to offer work-related instruction.
Our Apprentice-Intern Project offers the opportunity for select students to design a ‘bare-bones’ production of a Shakespeare play.
Internships may be available for full season (May 13, 2014 through August 8, 2014 for most interns — stage management interns begin May 6, 2014) or partial season, depending on the needs of the department.
Interns receive a small stipend for their time and free housing.
If you are interested in being considered for an internship, please fill out the form below. If you have questions, please contact: Daniel Munson, Production Manager at production[at]grsf.org.
Thank you for considering Great River Shakespeare Festival!
