The Great River Shakespeare Festival (GRSF) concluded its 2012 season with record-breaking attendance and sales figures. 13,188 tickets were sold to events, including 11,131 to professional company productions, 676 to the intern/apprentice company production, and 1,381 to other featured events. This is an increase in professional company production ticket sales of over 1,300 from last year’s attendance figures. Total Festival attendance, including all non-ticketed events such as the Concerts on the Green, Festival Mornings, and Company Conversations, pushed the total Festival attendance beyond 17,000.
Total ticket revenue is $220, 439.26, with total earned income expected to exceed $275,000.
