The Great River Shakespeare Festival prides itself on community outreach and collaboration with other organizations. As a proud member of the Winona Area Chamber of Commerce, GRSF is committed to economic growth and development in the community. We’re a member organization of the Main Street Program – an initiative driven by a passion for revitalizing downtown – and our company members frequently patronize these businesses. We have partnered with the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, Home and Community Options, the Minnesota Conservatory for the Arts, the Frozen River Film Festival to name only a few.
The Great River League was founded as a way for local companies to support Winona’s summer Shakespeare Festival, partnerships that bridge the arts, tourism, and the businesses that drive our local economy. Our company members and visiting patrons frequent local businesses, keeping the money earned by our Festival in Winona. A donation to the Great River Shakespeare Festival not only supports our future, it encourages a thriving Winona economy!
