Dalacia James is a recent graduate from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance. Recent credits include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Hermia), The Comedy of Errors (Duke Solinus/Dr. Pinch), Woyzeck (Franz Woyzeck), The Diary of Anne Frank (Edith Frank), and Our Town (Mrs. Webb). Dalacia has also helped devise and perform in several productions including Shakespeare: Live and Thrive (Desdemona/Aaron/Speed/Rosalind/Crab), a Shakespearean TYA showcase in which scenes and monologues are placed in contemporary context to draw younger audiences into the world of classical theatre. Dalacia would like to thank her friends and family back home in both New Orleans and Baton Rouge for supporting her through all her artistic endeavors.
