| For 35 years Gale Childs Daly has worked as a text coach with directors, actors, and designers, helping them use language to make creative choices which are true to the script and tell a clear story. Gale reveals how she uses her skills as a “verse detective” to follow clues and solve the mystery of language in Shakespeare’s plays. She will also talk about what Shakespeare and rap music have in common, what the job of a text coach is, and the process of analyzing text (giving people a hands-on shot at doing it). | |

Dr. Peter Saccio (Ph.D., Princeton University) is the Leon D. Black Professor of Shakespearean Studies and Professor of English Emeritus at Dartmouth College. Professor Saccio is the author Shakespeare’s English Kings (1977), which has become a classic in its field. He will shed light on King Henry V in a compelling 90 minute conversation. |
