Minnesota Marine Art Museum
June 28 – August 11, 2013
The Minnesota Marine Art Museum is extending the Rockwell Kent in Winona Centennial Celebration by bringing the artist’s Shakespeare related prints to Winona during the Great River Shakespeare Festival! Collector Ralf Nemec shared his collection of prints during the Rockwell Kent Festival in February and he has generously offered to allow MMAM to display his Shakespeare prints.
Rockwell Kent illustrated an edition of “The Complete Works of Shakespeare” in 1936. Nemec’s collection consists of all forty illustrations and will be presented in two stages – half in 2013 and half in 2014.
Visitors may view the prints along with the rest of the museum’s impressive collections for: $7 for Adults and Seniors; $3 for Students; $20 Maximum for Household. Admission is free on Tuesdays for students of any age. Free for MMAM Members.
