Great River Reports: March

Your GRSF company is busy as always!

GRSF Artistic Director Doug Scholz-Carlson’s production of Pirates of Penzance at Park Square Theatre opened to vast acclaim last month.

Doug’s adaptation is being praised as “a lark and a goof; a piffle of a social satire that aims to entertain”. The production featured several GRSF company members: Rebecca Bernstein served as Costume Designer, Connor McEvoy as Properties Designer, Mary Capers was the Wig Artisan, and GRSF alum Max Wojtanowicz appeared onstage in the production. You can check out reviews here and here. The production runs through March 25th.

Chris Mixon is appearing as Edmund Tilney and Sir Robert de Lesseps in Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s production of Shakespeare in Love. Their production also runs through March 25th.

Jonathan Gillard Daly is still appearing in the Milwaukee Repertory Theater’s production of Animal Farm. The production is now running at the Center Stage Theater in Baltimore, Maryland.
