Jonathan Contreras, from El Paso, TX, has a BFA in Drama with an emphasis in Acting from the University of Oklahoma. This is their second year at GRSF and was previously seen in the 2017 apprentice production of Henry VI: The Rise of Richard. Recently acted in the UTEP Dept. of Theatre and Dance production of Lydia by Octavio Solis which received the Kennedy Center Citizen Artist Award, Outstanding Performance and Production Ensemble, and the Outstanding Production of a Play honor at the 2018 KCACTF festival. Has also performed in Austin, TX in the 2017 One Minute Play Festival, and most recently with Teatro Vivo theatre company as part of their Austin Latino New Play Festival. When not on stage, Jonathan can be found traveling, hiking, camping, backpacking and trail running the southwestern United States.
