Rochester Day

Here at the Great River Shakespeare Festival, Rochester Day is July 18th!  To receive the Rochester Day group rate, please call the box office at 507-474-7900.  Here are some activities and events taking place on that Saturday.  Click the Your Visit tab for food, lodging and much more to do in Winona.

GRSF Events

Festival Morning, 10am-11am

Join Festival artists and guests for coffee and an informal, lively discussion about the season’s plays and the creative process from 10 - 11 AM at the Acoustic Cafe, located on the corner of Lafayette and 2nd street in downtown Winona.

The Tempest, 3:00pm
Purchase tickets by calling the box office at 507-474-7900.  Make sure to mention that you would like the Rochester group discount!

Grill with Will, 6:00pm-8:00pm
Join us for a Minnesota picnic on the green at Winona State University.  For more information, see the “Before the Show” tab under Plays and Tickets.

Prelude Concert-Joe and Vicki Price, 6:30pm-7:30
A free concert hosted by GRSF on the green at Winona State University.  For more information, see the “Before the Show” tab under Plays and Tickets.

Love’s Labour’s Lost, 8:00pm

AfterWill

Share refreshments and conversation with other Shakespeare enthusiasts at an after the performance wine and cheese party generously hosted by local patrons.  Meet new friends and an actor or two!  To attend, please visit the “After the Play” tab in the Plays and Tickets section to RSVP!

Exhibits

Southeastern Minnesota Regional Juried Art Exhibit, St. Mary’s University (9:00am-8:00pm) and Winona State University (5:00pm-8:00pm)

Sixty-eight artists from the tri-state region are represented with works in a broad range of styles, media, and subject matter.There is no admission charge.  See http://visitwinona.com/events/ and scroll down for more information.

Minnesota Marine Art Museum Exhibit,

Drops and Drama at Theatre du Mississippi, 3:00pm
