Season Preview – April 14, 2013

The Great River Shakespeare Festival will host its annual Season Preview on Sunday April 14th from 4:00-6:00pm, in conjunction with the Winona County History Center, where the event will be held. Several members of the Festival’s artistic staff will be present to talk about plans for GRSF’s 2013 productions. Artistic Director Paul Barnes will discuss the season and announce casting. Costume designer Tim Dial, set designer Eric Stone, composer Jack Forbes Wilson, and properties director Nikki Kulas will display and talk about their work. Guest director James Edmondson (King Lear, 2012) and Paul Barnes will be on hand along with Doug Scholz-Carlson, GRSF Associate Artistic Director, and available for informal conversation about the plays. Edmondson directs this season’s King Henry V; Barnes will direct Twelfth Night. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a cash bar, hors d’oeurves, and the opportunity to purchase tickets to the GRSF 2013 10th anniversary season performances and festivities.
