It’s (almost) spring: it must be time for Shakespeare in the Schools! Once again, the GRSF Education team will be heading into the Winona and surrounding area schools to get their Elizabethan Groove On!
Shakespeare in the Schools (SITS) is a fun, exciting way to bring Shakespeare to life in the classroom. Teams of teaching artists explore Shakespeare through the actor and director lens in classrooms in and around the Winona area. Elizabethan dances, court and country customs, scenework and character creation combine for a fun, hands-on approach to the Bard. This year, you may even see some stage combat or an original Shakespearean film!
