Matthew Tibbs is a sound designer and music creator working in live performance. After teaching the past five years at Ball State University, he and his family are making their way back to the West via the Oregon Trail, hoping to avoid cholera and natural disasters on their journey. When not making cross country moves, Matthew enjoys playing soccer, working with his hands, breaking bread with other artists, and refurbishing vintage stereo equipment.
Matthew’s work has been seen at Utah Shakespeare Festival, Great River Shakespeare Festival (6 years), the Clarence Brown Theatre, Indiana Repertory Theatre, Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, Pioneer Theatre Company (3 years), Hilberry Repertory Theatre, and festivals in NYC and Washington D.C.
