2023 Summer Season Content Disclosures

What is a Content Disclosure?

Content disclosures (sometimes also referred to as content warnings, content advisories, content notes) are verbal or written notices that precede potentially sensitive content. They indicate in advance any topics which people may find triggering or distressing and they give people the necessary information to decide whether they feel able to proceed in engaging with that content.

AS YOU LIKE IT

LANGUAGE: There are a few instances of mildly bawdy Shakespearean innuendo.

SEX: None.

VIOLENCE: One brief instance of realistic, non-lethal violence. One instance of comic, highly theatrical, non-lethal violence.

RATING: If this was a movie, As You Like It would be rated “PG” and is appropriate for all ages.

THE WINTER’s TALE

LANGUAGE: None.

SEX: The plot involves a discussion of infidelity in marriage. Characters engage in consensual flirtation.

VIOLENCE: A character is eaten by a bear.

RATING: If this was a movie, The Winter’s Tale would be rated “PG” and is appropriate for all ages.

This production will use loud sounds and flashing lights.

IMBROGLIO

LANGUAGE: This production contains adult language.

SEX: This production contains adult subject matter.

VIOLENCE: This production contains moments of violence.

RATING: If this was a movie, Imbroglio would be rated PG-13.
